The Duke of York sits directly on the harbour front, less than a 4-minute walk from Whitby Abbey. Guests step out of their rooms onto the sandy beach. The pub hosts live music events, including performances by singer Marc Atkinson, and a Sunday night pub quiz.
Rooms include Deluxe Double Rooms with sea views and free-standing baths, Small Double Rooms with coffee machines, and Family Rooms with three beds overlooking the harbour.
