Harbour-side holiday home in Whitby with free off-site parking
Host & Stay - Harbour Mist Cottage is a holiday home with two bedrooms and a living room. The property includes a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine. The twin bedroom is extremely small and has low ceilings requiring guests to duck, while the beds are shorter than standard.
Guests benefit from private check-in and check-out services and family rooms. The cottage is non-smoking throughout, with heating, key access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. Streaming services are available in the seating and dining area.
Whitby Beach is a 15-minute walk from the cottage, while Whitby Abbey lies less than 1 km away. Captain Cook Memorial Museum and Whitby Train Station are each within 1 km of the property. The location is quiet except for seagulls, and the harbour view adds to the experience.
Guests report the cottage is exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds and a spacious living room. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking home meals, and the cozy atmosphere is appreciated. Low ceiling beams in the attic bedrooms are a known hazard, especially for taller guests, so caution is advised.
Free off-site private parking is available a short walk up the hill from the property. This parking space is a significant advantage given the difficulty of finding street parking in Whitby during summer. Guests note they avoided using the car to keep the spot.
